Description

Slutty Brownies combine rich brownie base, crunchy Oreo cookies, and gooey chocolate chip cookie dough for a decadent layered dessert that’s easy to prepare and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 1 (17.5 ounce) package chocolate chip cookie dough

For the Oreos:

  • 1 (14.3 ounce) package Oreo cookies

For the Brownie Base:

  • 1 (18.3 ounce) package brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on package (typically eggs, oil, and water as specified)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Brownie Batter: Follow the package instructions to prepare the brownie mix; once ready, pour half of the batter evenly into the greased baking pan.
  3. Add Oreo Layer: Arrange the Oreo cookies in a single layer on top of the brownie batter, covering the surface completely.
  4. Spread Cookie Dough: Evenly spread the chocolate chip cookie dough over the Oreo layer, ensuring full coverage without gaps.
  5. Top with Remaining Brownie Batter: Pour the remaining brownie batter gently over the cookie dough layer, spreading it carefully to cover evenly.
  6. Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool and Serve: Remove the pan from the oven and allow it to cool for about 20 minutes before cutting into 16 squares and serving.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cookie dough for easier spreading.
  • For a fudgier result, underbake by a few minutes.
  • Feel free to swap Oreos for any sandwich cookies you prefer.
  • Let brownies cool completely for cleaner cutting and better texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
