Description

Pulse Kachcha Aam Mocktail is a refreshing and tangy summer drink made with raw mango pulp, spices, and crushed Pulse candies. This chilled vegan mocktail delivers a nostalgic balance of sweet, sour, and slightly spicy flavors, perfect for cooling down on a hot day.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw mango pulp
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 6 to 8 Pulse candies (kachcha aam flavor), crushed
  • 2 cups chilled water
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Raw Mango Pulp: Peel and chop the raw mango, then blend it until it forms a smooth pulp. Strain if needed to remove excess fibers.
  2. Crush Pulse Candies: Crush the Pulse candies using a mortar and pestle until they become a fine powder.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl or pitcher, combine the raw mango pulp, crushed candy powder, sugar, lemon juice, black salt, roasted cumin powder, and black pepper. Mix well until the sugar dissolves completely and the ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Add Water and Blend Flavors: Pour in the chilled water and stir thoroughly to blend the flavors. Taste and adjust sweetness or salt if needed.
  5. Serve Chilled: Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the mocktail over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices, then serve immediately while chilled.

Notes

  • Use fresh raw mangoes for the best authentic flavor; canned mango pulp may alter the taste.
  • Adjust the number of Pulse candies to make the mocktail sweeter or more tangy as per your preference.
  • The black salt adds a distinct tangy and salty taste, but can be adjusted or omitted if unavailable.
  • For a non-alcoholic summer party drink, this mocktail serves perfectly chilled.
  • Mint leaves not only garnish but also add a refreshing aroma and flavor.
