Description

This Ninja Creami Blueberry Cheesecake Protein Ice Cream is a healthy, high-protein dessert that combines the creamy richness of cheesecake with the natural sweetness of blueberries. Perfect for a guilt-free treat, this recipe uses almond milk, protein powder, and cream cheese to create a smooth, delicious frozen treat that’s easy to prepare and customizable to your taste.

Ingredients

Scale

Ice Cream Base

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla or cheesecake-flavored protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free cheesecake pudding mix
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Mix-Ins (Optional)

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • Crushed graham crackers or graham-style protein bar for mix-in (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base: In a blender, combine almond milk, protein powder, sugar-free cheesecake pudding mix, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend thoroughly until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined.
  2. Freeze the mixture: Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Place the container in the freezer and freeze solid for at least 24 hours to ensure proper consistency for processing.
  3. Process in the Ninja Creami: After freezing, remove the pint container from the freezer and place it into the Ninja Creami machine. Use the ‘Lite Ice Cream’ or ‘Creami’ program to process the mixture until smooth and creamy. If the texture appears crumbly or powdery, add 1-2 tablespoons of almond milk and run the spin cycle again to improve creaminess.
  4. Add mix-ins: Once processed, create a small well in the center of the ice cream and add the frozen blueberries along with crushed graham crackers or a graham-style protein bar if using. Select the ‘Mix-In’ cycle on the machine to fold these ingredients evenly into the ice cream.
  5. Serve or store: Serve the ice cream immediately for the best texture or store it in the freezer for later enjoyment. If stored, allow it to soften slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For an even creamier texture, substitute whole milk for almond milk.
  • Feel free to change the berries or use different flavored protein powders to customize the flavor.
  • Add additional sweetener if you prefer a sweeter ice cream.
