Description

This Greek Yogurt Parfait is a quick, nutritious, and delicious layered treat featuring creamy Greek yogurt, fresh berries, and crunchy granola. Perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack, it’s easily customizable with your favorite fruits and sweeteners.

Ingredients

Scale

Parfait Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional – more as a drizzle)
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup berries (or any other fruit cut into small 1-inch chunks)
  • ¼ cup homemade granola (or store bought granola)

Instructions

  1. Sweeten the Yogurt: If using a sweetener, mix the honey or maple syrup with the Greek yogurt in a small bowl until fully combined to add a touch of natural sweetness to the parfait.
  2. Layer the Parfait: Begin by placing half of the sweetened yogurt at the bottom of a mason jar or bowl. Add half of the cut berries on top of the yogurt, followed by half of the granola. Repeat the layering by adding the remaining yogurt, then the rest of the fruit, and finally the remaining granola on top.
  3. Finish and Serve: If desired, drizzle some additional honey over the top for extra sweetness. Serve immediately to keep the granola crunchy and enjoy this refreshing, healthy parfait.

Notes

  • Use any fresh or frozen fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, peaches, or mangoes.
  • Homemade granola can be customized with nuts and seeds to your preference.
  • For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut or almond-based yogurt.
  • Prepare in advance and store in the refrigerator, but add granola just before serving to maintain crunchiness.
