A festive and refreshing cocktail perfect for holiday gatherings, the Frosted Mistletoe Margarita combines the tartness of cranberry juice with the bright flavors of tequila, orange liqueur, and fresh lime. - 2 tbsp kosher salt

Cocktail
- 1 1/2 cups silver tequila (blanco tequila)
- 2 cups 100% unsweetened cranberry juice
- 3/4 cup Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 3/4 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar (adjust to taste)
- zest from 1 orange
- 4 cups ice
Instructions
- Prepare the rim: In a shallow dish, combine the granulated sugar and kosher salt. Rub the rim of each glass with a lime wedge and dip it into the sugar-salt mixture to coat evenly. Set aside.
- Mix the cocktail: In a large pitcher, combine the silver tequila, cranberry juice, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, fresh or frozen cranberries, honey or agave nectar, and orange zest. Stir well to blend all ingredients uniformly.
- Add ice and garnish: Fill the pitcher with 4 cups of ice and stir gently to chill the cocktail. Pour into prepared glasses and garnish each with sugared cranberries and a sprig of fresh rosemary for a festive appearance.
Notes
- For sugared cranberries, gently coat fresh cranberries in simple syrup then roll in granulated sugar; let dry before using as garnish.
- Adjust honey or agave nectar amount based on desired sweetness.
