Ingredients
Scale
Sliders
- 12 slider rolls
- 8 oz deli ham
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
Topping
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for cooking the sliders evenly and perfectly.
- Prepare Sliders: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish or directly into the air fryer basket. Layer the deli ham evenly over the bottoms, then add a slice of Swiss cheese on top. If using, spread Dijon mustard on the inside of the top halves.
- Mix and Brush Topping: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with garlic powder and poppy seeds. Brush this flavorful mixture generously over the inside of the top slider halves before placing them on the assembled bottoms with ham and cheese.
- Air Fry the Sliders: Carefully place the fully assembled sliders into the preheated air fryer. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese in the middle has melted beautifully. Monitor closely to avoid overcooking.
- Serve: Remove the sliders from the air fryer, slice between each slider to separate, and serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use freshly baked slider rolls for the best texture and flavor.
- Optional Dijon mustard adds a subtle tangy kick but can be omitted if preferred.
- Keep an eye on sliders during air frying to prevent burning, as air fryer models vary.
- For a spicy twist, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the butter mixture.
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes before serving.
