- 1/2 pound deli ham, thinly sliced
- 2 slices Colby-Jack cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon
Produce
- 4 slices of tomato
- Romaine lettuce, enough to layer

- Mayo, as needed
- Mustard, as needed
Instructions
- Toast the bread: Toast the bread slices in a toaster until they are golden-brown and crisp. Allow them to cool completely before assembling the sandwiches to prevent sogginess.
- First layer assembly: Take one slice of toasted bread and spread a generous layer of mayo and/or mustard to your liking. Next, layer 3 slices of thinly sliced turkey on top followed by fresh romaine lettuce leaves and 2 slices of cooked crispy bacon.
- Second layer assembly: Place another slice of toasted bread over the bacon layer. Spread a light amount of mayo and mustard mixture on this slice as well. Then add 3 slices of ham, 1 slice of Colby-Jack cheese, 2 slices of fresh tomato, and some more romaine lettuce.
- Finish assembling: Top everything with the final slice of toasted bread. Gently press down on the sandwich slightly to help the ingredients adhere together and hold their shape.
- Prepare second sandwich: Repeat the exact same process with the remaining bread and ingredients to make a second large sandwich.
- Slice and serve: Cut each sandwich into 4 equal triangles using a sharp knife. Serve immediately and enjoy your classic club sandwiches!
Notes
- For best texture, toast the bread slices fully and let them cool before assembling.
- You can customize the condiment ratio of mayo and mustard according to preference.
- Use freshly cooked bacon for crispy texture and better flavor.
- Feel free to substitute Colby-Jack cheese with cheddar or other preferred cheese.
- This sandwich is best served fresh to maintain crispness of the bread and freshness of the veggies.
